Before the Covid Pandemic, Ms. HR Job was targeted by many within her organization and done away with.  This was vividly shown by Marc Miller in his brilliant talk /”show”, a detective story  called “Who killed Ms. Harriet Rose Job (HR JOB)?”  In this, his 2017 – 2018 keynote “Detective” Miller showed us that Ms. HR Job was considered (among other things) as having the work traits that showed her to be Irrelevant, Indifferent Indecisive Incompetent and Inflexible with no new skills, as he called them the “5 Fatal I’s”.  But now, as a result of Covid (enter “Connie Vid) (Ms.) HR Job is at the center of many issues and initiatives vital to the survival of an organization.  HR Job is now considered critical by all and must be heard and preserved and she must never again die. She must be Immortal!. How did this happen? Who and what helped Hs. Harriet Rose Job be resurrected and become needed and critical if not IMMORTAL? People found out by attending this lively presentation.

Nearly a quarter of Americans are in the “sandwich generation” individuals who are juggling the demands of raising children (age 18 years and younger), working a full-time job and performing caregiving duties for aging parents and relatives (age 65 and older). They’re exhausted and the impact on their own mental, physical, emotional, and financial health is significant.  The impact to U.S. businesses often looks like a decrease in productivity, increased absenteeism, sudden and unexpected requests for leaves and modified work schedules. In 2023, less than one-third of the US workforce was actively engaged, highlighting a critical issue with significant implications for productivity. Additionally, since 2005 annual productivity increases in the US have averaged 1.4%, compared to 2.1% since 1948, when the BLS started tracking workforce productivity. The correlation between engagement and productivity is well-established, and organizations must recognize that their people are the value creators. This program provided an overview of the new regulations adopted by the EEOC, the federal agency responsible for oversight and administration of the PWFA. It covered the expansive scope of coverage under the new law, including the nature, circumstances and conditions beyond pregnancy, the types of employer requests permitted and forbidden, the types of accommodations automatically expected, whether an employer must forgo performance of essential job functions and much more.

expansion of our filing capabilities to include filing 1095-B forms for smaller employers who are
self-insured (this includes NJSHB, HIF, SHIF, level-funded, etc.). This service is in addition to the

The IRS has implemented that if you must produce more than 10 forms, they are required to be
filed electronically, which necessitates partnering with a third-party company, such as
Primepoint. The IRS does not provide an electronic filing option to the “public”.
