We wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for the strong values that were cemented in our foundation generations ago. The desire to help others, support the community, work hard as a team and a family, and be better every day continues to live at the heart and soul of our organization.
And it all started with Bea.
The Very Start
In the 1970s, Bea Bothwell started a bookkeeping business called Bookkeeping Assistance. As her clients’ need for payroll processing grew, her sons, Dave and Al, joined her cause. They developed their own payroll technology and together created Delaware Valley Payroll.


Bea continued working with her book of clients as her sons helped expand the payroll business. It didn’t take long before they outgrew the space on Farnsworth Avenue and made the move to a larger office space in Bordentown.
Technology continued to evolve with the needs of their customers, incorporating more HR and Time solutions along with payroll services. So, in 2000, with Bea by their side, they established Primepoint.
Better Every Day
The teamwork continued, along with the desire to get a little bit better every day, and it didn’t take long before another move was needed. In 2010, Primepoint made the transition to our current headquarters in Westampton, NJ.
All along, Bea’s mission has always been the same: to help people and to feed people. While she may not be able to feed her Sunday gravy to everyone reading this, she can still help you, if you ask.
